DIY Tiger eye bead necklace with scarab charm

How to make a necklace with Tiger Eye beads?

This necklace tutorial is very easy to make and you can customize it with your favorite gemstones. We have more than a dozen rectangular stone beads available on the site and many more round stone beads in different sizes and finishes. Tiger's eye stones will be perfectly on trend for this summer and fall and you can adapt the type of stones to your wardrobe for the rest of the year.

We've combined these amber colored beads with creamimitation howlite tube beads and gold imitation hematite rondellesto change from the metallic gold flower rondelles. This accentuates the beautiful reflections of the real tiger eye stone. This stone is perfect for mixed jewelry. Did you know that? In astrology, it is said that the eye of tiger is the stone of Gemini. Here is a nice personalized gift for people born between May 21 and June 21.

In the center of the necklace, you will find a tiger's eye pendant engraved with a beetle. It is an exclusive Perles & co. This little beetle has been declined in metal shapes to be stuck on, golden and silver charms, as well as in spacers. It is also engraved on 15 mm stone pendants.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
DIY Tiger eye bead necklace with scarab charm : Step 1

Cut a piece of wire of 70 cm for a necklace of 50 to 55 cm. Thread a crush bead, pass the wire through the ring of the snap hook and return to the crush bead. Crush the pearl with a special crush pearl pliers or, failing that, a flat pliers. Place a crush bead cover over the bead for a more attractive finish.

Step 2

Thread the beads as shown in the photo. The necklace is currently 50 cm long. If you want to make a longer necklace, adjust the bead stringing and consider cutting a longer thread. Then repeat step 1 to attach the extension chain. Tighten the thread and pass it through a few beads before flattening the bead to be crushed. Leave a little room to add the pendant with a ring later. Check your fixings by pulling on the wire and then cut off the excess.

Step 3

Open a 6 mm ring by rotating the ends with two jewellery pliers and slip the pendant into it. Place the ring between the 4 hematite beads in the centre and close it by turning the ends of the ring to face each other.

Bonjour,
