Do you know lettering? It is the art of drawing letters. In French it is called "lettering". Are you wondering what it has to do with jewelry? Lettering is also a term that refers to the activity of forming letters with wire to create bracelets, rings or pendants. It's an art that takes a little practice. You may have to start this ring once or twice, but once you get the hang of it, it will open up many possibilities!
Print the alphabet at the desired size. You will probably need to change the print size percentage in your printer settings. This setting is done differently from printer to printer. Cut 10 to 15 cm of wire. Form the letters one at a time, laying the wire evenly over the alphabet to keep the size correct.
Once the letters are formed, gently flatten them with a pair of flat tongs. This will slightly solidify your lettering. Place your creation on a ring stand to adjust the ring to the right size and cross the threads to mark the location.
Cut the ends of the wire back a bit so you can easily wrap them around each side of your fold. Cut the wires on the outside of the ring so that the ends don't scratch you when you put it on.
