Put glue on your toothpick and apply a generous amount of glue to the centre of the cabochon. Place the small star on it and press the star with the other end of the toothpick without glue. Be careful not to touch the star at the next step because the glue takes 1 hour to harden and 24 hours to dry completely.
Apply glue to the entire lower part of the crimp. Place your cabochon on it and press it without touching the star to position it well and spread the glue underneath.
Gently tighten the legs of the crimp little by little.
Open a ring by rotating both ends with 2 pliers. Slide the charm into the ring, then close the ring on the ring.
