The shiny threads are made in France by the company Au Ver à Soie and are composed of Cupro which gives them their shine and of polyester. The beaded part of the bracelet is made with glass beads delicas Miyuki 15/0 and 11/0 and small facets of Bohemian silver which are also available in gold.
This DIY jewel is easy to understand but requires a little dexterity to place the wires well while holding them. Glue is applied to the back of the bracelet to fix the wires. This woven Miyuki weave bracelet with checkered pattern Onyx cabochon is also used in this tutorial in silver version: Woven Miyuki weave bracelet with checkered pattern Onyx cabochon.

Put vinyl glue on the back of the bracelet on the first part to be covered with the shiny black and brown thread. Put the end of the thread on top.

Cover the bracelet by wrapping it with wire, from the side of the bracelet towards the centre, so that the end of the wire is stuck to the centre of the bracelet. Wrap it little by little, adding more glue to the back if necessary. You will need to cover the glued end in step 1 as well. To tighten the threads, once you have made 6 or 7 turns, push the thread to bring the turns closer together. The less you see the golden bracelet underneath, the better the result will be.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to cover the second side of the bracelet. Pay attention to the meaning. Start well from the side towards the center. The end of the wire must be glued to the center. It will be covered by the golden part. When the black part is dry go to gold. Glue it in the same way. To finish make a simple knot, tighten strongly and put a generous amount of glue, even if it means putting a second layer after the first one has dried.

Cut 50 cm of weaving thread and thread it onto a needle. Pass through the first hole from the inside of the bracelet, keep 15 cm of thread on that side, pass through the second hole and make a double knot.

Go through the first hole again and thread 2 delicas 15/0, 3 delicas 11/0, 5 facetted beads 2 mm silver, 3 delicas 11/0 and 2 delicas 15/0. Pass through the opposite hole.

Go to the next hole and repeat step 5 until you have placed all 4 rows of beads.

Go from one hole to the other to return to the 15 cm end of the thread and make a new double knot on the back of the bracelet.

Iron in the beads with one of the pieces of thread and come out before the end of the row. Cut the thread. Do the same with the other end of the thread. Repeat steps 4 to 8 to make the second side of the bracelet.
