How do I create a ring?

To continue our presentation of the new PureCrystal collection, we're continuing with this month's tutorials! Today, we'd like to show you how to create a ring tutorial using Gold filled (rolled gold) and irregular PureCrystal pearly beads in a pretty baroque shape. Other colors and sizes of irregular pearly beads are available, and you've probably seen them in our new releases. To shop for them and personalize your ring with your favorite colors, find them on our site without further delay!

Here, the ring supports are ready-made and adjustable to fit all fingers! But for those who are more comfortable working with gold filled, you can also opt to create the ring itself using gold filled hard wire.

As for tools, you don't necessarily need to be very well equipped. To complete this tutorial, all you'll need is a set of jeweller's pliers, which you'll find in this jewelry pliers kit.
And in no time at all, your ring is ready!

How does it look on your finger? We can't wait to see the result of your creation, so don't hesitate to share a photo of your jewel with us on our social networks: our Facebook page and our Instagram page.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Cut two short lengths of flexible Gold Filled wire, approx. 5 cm x 2.

Step 2

Wrap a first wire around your ring stand using jewelry pliers with fine round tips. Hold the wire with your finger to start with, then use the pliers to press the wire against the support so that it surrounds it.
You can protect your pliers with nylon tips to avoid marking your wire. Repeat the same operation on the other ring.

Step 3

Place an irregular bead on one of the two wires and connect this wire to the other ring support, winding it in the same way as the first time. Your PureCrystal bead is now fixed between the two ring supports. Repeat the operation for the second bead.

In no time at all, your ring is finished!
