
Step 1 :
Paint each ball the base color that you desire with a medium-sized paintbrush. Orange for the pumpkins and black for the black cats.
Let the paint dry completely.

Step 2 :
Look up pictures of vintage black cats and pumpkin faces to give you ideas of what the faces should look like (if you are going for the vintage look like I did).
Paint one color at a time, making sure to let the paint dry completely between each color. Using a small paintbrush will help with creating the small details.

Step 3 :
When the pumpkin faces are finished, you can add a stem at the top to make them look more realistic. Hot glued them to the tops of the pumpkin balls.

Step 4 :
For the black cats' ears, I cut two identical triangles out of black paper. I folded down the end and cut a little bit off the end of each folded piece to help the ears lie flat.
I put a little hot glue on the folded part and then placed them on the top of the cat.
The ears are the finishing touch to these cute and easy Halloween decorations!
