How to make a multi-row ethnic leather necklace?
This tutorial will allow you to create an imposing but very light ethnic necklace using fine red leather cords and then gold leather laces. The addition of the trapezoidal gold spacer brings a chic side to the creation.
Step 1
Cut into the reel of leather threads in lengths of 48 cm by grouping them in packs of 5. Use masking tape to connect them together. Use the entire spool of threads.

2nd step
Hold the ends of a pack in your hands, place the middle of the threads in contact with your thigh (with pants) and then move from right to left and vice versa to smooth the threads and prevent them from curling.

Step 3
Connect all the ends of the wire bundles together with a new adhesive. Start with one side, position all the wires in an arc and then fix the second side.

Step 4
Pull the whole cord out of its spool and cut the length into 2 parts. Take one half of the lace, fold it in 2, put the loop formed under the red threads and then with the other end of the lace you must go back in the loop to fix the lace. In the remaining lengths of the lace you must make sure that there is on one side 20 cm. Fold this length into 2 parts to form a loop that you will press against the red threads and use the other part of the lace to keep this loop.

Step 5
Cover with golden lace all the way until you reach the loop, putting strong glue before that. Hold the end of the lace with a clamp the time of the beginning of the drying of the glue. The length of the gold lace band is 6.5 cm.

Step 6
Before continuing with the second lace you have to pass the golden interlayer in the leather threads.
Pass the second lace into the hole of a tagua seed. Tie a knot and leave 4 to 5 cm of lace length on one side.

Step 7
Wrap all the lace on the red threads without forgetting to put glue. Also hold the assembly with forceps at least 1h. I always fix the ends of lace even if they seem well glued to me by making a stitch with an invisible thread just after the end, it is optional but for all creations dedicated to the sale it is preferable and more reliable.
