Why stainless steel?
A good alternative to silver, stainless steel is hard-wearing and durable, as it doesn't erode or scratch. It's an alloy of iron, carbon, nickel and chromium.
Although stainless steel contains nickel particles, as these are enclosed in the alloy they cannot be released, which is why stainless steel is an anti-allergenic metal that does not irritate the skin.
