Add a touch of gold or silver to brighten things up, and you're all set!
Did you know? Galvanized opaque gold and silver colors with Duracoat varnish are quite expensive due to their manufacturing process, but they are nonetheless very attractive and highly resistant over time. For a more cost-effective gold or silver effect, choose references DB-0042 and DB-0041 Gold Silver Lined and Crystal Silver lined. These transparent beads have a silver interior. As the glass is tinted yellow for DB-0042, this gives a golden effect. Here's a little trick to help you save money when you start weaving beads!
Most of the colors shown on this page are marked Duracoat. Duracoat is a varnish applied by the manufacturer after the beads have been made, to ensure excellent resistance over time. The color of these beads will not change, even after several years. Matte beads are also highly resistant. For the rest, avoid wearing jewelry with Miyuki if you've worn cosmetics or perfume, as they contain solvents that can damage the colors. The same applies to sea salt.
Let's move on to the presentation of the special autumn colors. Add these beads directly to your basket using the list at the bottom of the page:

What better way to transition from summer to autumn than with turquoise shades? We go from a soft DB-0374 "seafoam" to a deep Eucalyptus reminiscent of late-summer flower bouquets, and finish with a fir green. Indeed, translate DB-2356 Evergreen as "evergreen". And yes, this color refers to Spruces, Pines, Firs and other trees and shrubs that keep their leaves all year round. A color very representative of autumn and winter indeed.
Here's an easy weaving tutorial idea you can make with these beads: Bracelet Jonc en Peyote Pair.

A nod to northeastern France, but also to Albi, the birthplace of Perles and Co, for this selection of brick-red colors. Here are 4 shades that will remind you of autumn leaves. These warm colors will match all your outfits. For reference DB-2274 Persimmon is the English name for the persimmon fruit eaten in autumn after the first frost. DB-0378 Brick Red simply means brick red. DB-0795 Cinnabar refers to Cinnabar, a mineral species composed of Mercury Sulfide which was used in ancient times as a pigment, ornament or compound of great importance in alchemy. Don't try it, though: for a miracle product supposed to make you immortal, according to the alchemists of the time, it's awfully toxic...
Here's a little bracelet you can make with these 3 shades, combining them with white and gold: Bracelet 7 rangs en Peyote Impair.

As if to remind us of the end of summer too, khaki and light green are back in fashion with a vengeance. It reminds us of arid southern days and olive trees with DB-2357. DB-2123 Fennel means fennel in French. An aniseed-flavored vegetable that goes well with soups and pan-fried dishes. Try it with squash and shallots. And yes, we also give you culinary ideas in this article! Returning to our subject, this color was used on coats during Fashion Week by a very big brand that starts with a C and ends with an L. We had a crush on it, so it slipped in with olive green. And yes.
Here's a jewelry idea to make with these two colors: Miyuki tube bracelet in Brick Stitch.

These two complementary colors are perfect for fall. They can be found in combination with other colors in many ready-to-wear collections. You can use them as the main color or as a touch with the colors listed above. DB-2106 Hawthorne means Hawthorn. This shrub produces flowers in summer and small red berries in autumn. The mustard hue associated with this name is a mystery... Perhaps because dyeing fabric with Hawthorn leaves turns it yellow? If you know the reason, put it in the comments. In any case, DB-2355 is clearer. Plum Berry means plum.
The latter color was used in a recent tuto with the cinnabar color: Miyuki loom bracelet with gemstones.

We hope we've given you plenty of ideas for your future bead creations! Check back regularly for even more jewelry inspiration this autumn.
