Also known as the Advent wreath, the Christmas wreath is one of the first signs that Christmas is almost here! It is usually hung on the front door to welcome visitors in a warm and stylish way. But there's nothing to stop you from hanging it on the living room wall, on a closet door, on a window handle... or even on a piece of furniture or in the center of the table.
A centuries-old tradition, the wreath has been reinvented over the years with different ornaments, plants and decoration. Today, it has become the must-have in Christmas decoration and there is something for everyone!
Traditionally, it should be ready by the fourth Sunday before December 25th. Originally, the wreath was placed on the center of the table and was made of four candles that were lit every Sunday before Christmas.
But it doesn't matter which day you choose to put out your decoration, does it? The important thing is to create a festive and festive atmosphere from the entrance of the house while waiting for Christmas.
Wire, a hot glue gun, a pair of scissors and a pair of wire cutters are some of the essential materials to make your Christmas wreath.

But you're spoiled for choice! If you opt for a ready-made support, choose natural materials such as wicker or cork. For a more airy look, choose thin metal circles or even a coat hanger. And if you need to "prick" elements on it, a polystyrene circle will be perfect.
To decorate your Advent wreath, the best way is to let your imagination run wild!
Our preference is to use components that recall the magic of the holiday season, which is appreciated by children and adults alike:
You can also take some decorative elements for your Christmas tree (the ones that are usually left in the boxes) or recycled materials to make a Zero Waste Christmas wreath. It's super trendy!
It all depends on the space you have and the atmosphere you want to create! Your wreath can be XXL, bushy, airy, designer, maximal, elegant, rustic, poetic, inventive, mini or even pure... The choice is yours!
