Cut out the image so that you have the single star (in white) and the outline (in black).

We illustrate the use of hotfix tissues.
In the example below we make a bicolor star out of them.
Material and advice:
You will need an image or a design that will used as a pattern.
An iron.
Hotfix tissue, in this example we have used the image of a star, Hotfix tissue imitation Black lizard and Hotfix tissue Spangled gold.

Step 1:
Cut the image of the star to get the white part (inside part) and the black part (surrounding) apart.

Step 2:
Place the white part of the star on the back of the hotfix tissue.
Draw roughly the shape of the star using a pencil on the hotfix tissue.

Step 3:
Cut the star out of the hotfix tissue.

Step 4:
Place this star on the base you want to decorate.
Do not take off the plastic protection, it will allow you to iron directly on the hotfix tissue.

Step 5:
Iron the star.
Be careful, the iron must not heat too much.
Set your iron temperature in the middle range, to avoid the plastic protection from melting.

Step 6:
Take off the plastic protection, but do not throw it away because you will need it again very soon.

Step 7:
Draw carefully the black part of the image of the star onto the Hotfix tissue Black lizard.

Step 8:
Cut the shape.

Step 9:
Place the black shape onto the Spangled gold shape.
Put the plastic protection you have kept onto the spangled gold star to protect it.

Step 10:
Iron the black star.
Now you can take off both plastic protections and throw them away!

Here is what you get.

Cut out the image so that you have the single star (in white) and the outline (in black).

Place the white star on the back of the gold iron-on fabric.
Roughly outline the star with a pen.

Cut out the star.

Place the star on the surface to be decorated.
Do not remove the plastic film on the iron-on fabric, it can be ironed directly on.

Iron the star.
Be careful not to let the iron get too hot, as it may melt the plastic film.
Set it to medium temperature.

Remove the plastic film, do not throw it away, it will be useful for the future.

Trace the outline of the star.

Cut out the star.

Place the black star on top of the gold star.
Put the plastic film used for the gold star on top of the stars.

Iron the black star.
Remove the two plastic films.

This is the result!
