Cut out the template for the knot from the thick paper, following the pattern below.


Material and advice :
You need ribbon. Here for example Bias Liberty Nina rose.
You will need also a thick paper or cardboard.

Step 1 :
Cut the cardboard for the realisation of your knot as shown on the pattern below.

Step 2 :
Place the ribbon under the pattern and put the B end above as shown here:

Step 3 :
Place the A end in the nick while you put it above the B end.

Step 4 :
Then slip your ribbon to the bottom of the nick.

Step 5 :
Put the A end in the loop while you pass over.

Step 6 :
Pull both ends to tighten the knots.

Step 7 :
Let the knot slip out of the pattern.

Step 8 :
Cut the excess length.

There you have a perfect knot.

Cut out the template for the knot from the thick paper, following the pattern below.

Place the tape under the template and bring the B end of the tape over the template.

Pass the A end through the notch over the B end.

Bring the A end back to the bottom of the notch.

Pass the A end through the loop, over the top.

Pull on both ends to tighten the knot.

Slide the knot out of the template.

Trim the excess ribbon.

And you get a "perfect" knot.
