How to glue strass?

Customize nice and easy with strass.

Material and advice:
A bowtie button 38mm Fuchsia.
Stick-on strass 4mm Fireopal.
Locking tweezers
.
Strass 244 glue.

Step 1:
Take a strass with the tweezers.

Step 2:
Put some glue at the back of the strass.

Step 3:
Position the strass on the bowtie button.

Step 4:
Repeat these 3 steps 7 times.
Let dry and enjoy the result!!!

You can stick strass on almost every base.
A few more examples:


On a Rose-shaped charm 20mm Gold tone, in metal.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 1.8mm Topaz
                       - Stick-on strass 1.8 mm Jet
Strass 244 glue is adapted to this base.

On a Cosmic Square Ring 4437 20mm Crystal Sahara from PureCrystal.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 1.8mm Aquamarine
                    - Stick-on strass 1.8mm Olivine
Strass 244 glue is adapted to this base.

On a Cat's eye donut 25mm light green, in glass fiber.
We have used: - Hotfix strass 3mm Amethyst
Hotix strass have been pre-coated with a hit sensitive glue,
and are usually applied with special tool or by ironing them,
nevertheless you can use them as ordinary stick-on strass.
                            - Stick-on strass 1.8mm Olivine
Strass 244 glue will be okay on that base.

On a Moon charm 17mm in brass.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 1.8mm Crystal AB
You can use the Strass 244 glue on that base.

On a Polka dot bias ribbon, in cotton.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 3mm Light Amethyst
                    - Stick-on strass 4mm Light Rose
E-6000 glue is the best for this type of base.

On a Leather lace 10mm Purple.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 4mm Fireopal
E-6000 glue will do fine.

On a Plastic lace 5.8x19 mm Capri Blue.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 4mm Fireopal
E-6000 glue is the one you need on this plastic base.

On a Flower slip for Regaliz leather 25mm Old silver tone, in metal.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 4mm Light Rose
                        - Hotfix strass 3mm Amethyst
You may use E-6000 if you want to stick strass bigger than 1.8mm diameter on metal bases.

On a Regaliz leather slip 11x14mm Old silver tone, in metal.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 1.8mm Olivine
Strass 244 glue will be fine.

On a Ceramics tube 17x15mm Sh Yellow.
We have used: - Stick-on strass 4mm Fireopal
E-6000 glue will be okay for this base.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Pick up a rhinestone with the locking clip.

Step 2

Place a touch of glue on the back of the rhinestone.

Step 3

Place the rhinestone on the support (here a bow tie button).

Step 4

Do the same with the other rhinestones.
Let dry for a few minutes... and here is the result!!!
