This epoxy resin fish bead can be threaded onto a wire or cord to bring a marine touch to your DIY jewelry creations, with a dark blue hue with a slightly aged look and fine silver plating.
Please note: the epoxy resin is on one side. The back is smooth.
This fish-shaped pearl measures 15x7.5 mm and features an epoxy-coated face in a deep dark blue, a sustained hue with obscure accents between midnight blue and navy blue. The contour and structure of the pearl are finished with an aged fine silver plating, giving it a slightly worked, patinated appearance, quite different from classic shiny silver. This effect gives the pearl a more assertive character, suitable for creations with a bohemian or vintage spirit. The pearl is pierced lengthwise, with a 1.3 mm hole. Lightweight, it's easy to handle and integrate into a variety of compositions.
What to do with this fish pearl
Its dark blue hue and aged finish combine naturally with silver or shell Heishi pearls to create a marine bracelet or summer necklace. It can be used as an accent pearl in a row of small pearls, or as a central element on a waxed cord or cable. For a charms bracelet in blue and white tones, it integrates easily with charms and small colored pearls for an assembly accessible to beginners. It's also ideal for a cabled necklace combining Heishi beads and a variety of shapes, as in this summer necklace tutorial.
