This thread of the Berkley brand is renowned for its extreme strength and flexibility.
It is not a conventional braid or a nylon, it is a perfectly smooth fused braid.

In Europe, the announced resistances are tested without knots (direct pull). As soon as you tie a knot on this thread, you decrease the initial resistance and the knot is a potential breaking point.
The American resistances expressed in pounds (LB) are measured with knots. These resistance levels should therefore not be converted.
