What is screen printing?
It's a printing process in which ink is passed through the fine mesh of a screen using a squeegee, before being applied to the substrate to be printed.
What substrates can be used for screen printing?
They can be varied and not necessarily flat: think textile, polymer, cardboard, paper, wood and many others.

How do I use my screen printer?
- Prepare the substrate on which you wish to print your design.
- Place the shiny side of the silk screen on your substrate (so that the design is not reversed) and press gently.
- Take a small quantity of acrylic paint and a plastic card (such as an old credit or loyalty card).
- Spread the paint evenly over the surface of the motif.
- Remove any excess paint using the card.
- Remove the screen very gradually, lifting it from the right edge to the left.
- Do not allow paint to dry on the silk screen.
- Carefully clean under running water after each use.
