Tutorial steps

Step 1
DIY Christmas balls to make yourself in Scultoline : Step 1

Pour some Scultoline powder in a microwaveable container (2 to 3 tablespoons are enough to form a ball). You can also melt it in a water bath.
Leave it in the microwave for 1 minute, then stir it, put it back for 30 seconds, it's ready.
Pour the liquid in half of a ball or a plastic heart that separates in 2. Fill it well otherwise your suspension will be too thin and fragile.

Step 2

Close your heart, hold it firmly and then rotate it in your hand to spread all the Scultoline evenly inside. This is called rotational molding. This step takes 1 to 2 minutes. Cool the mold under water. When it is cold, turn it out carefully.

Step 3

Roughly sand your balls to get a good grip on the future paint.

Step 4

Drill all your balls with 2 holes aligned so you can pierce them.

Step 5

Place tape on the balls to mark off the areas to be painted. Start with the white paint, which takes the longest to dry.

Step 6

Continue painting with metallic gold paint. You can also make a few plain pieces.

Step 7

Use glitter glue on the balls by making a separation line between the 2 colors. You can also put dots on the white parts. Don't wait for it to dry before pouring very fine glitter on the glue. Once it is dry, you can spray the glitter to make it even more resistant.

Step 8

To make your hanging hook, use a flat head nail with a cup in it. Thread the nail into the ball and then with a pair of round-tipped pliers, form a strong loop on the top of the nail. You can hang your creations directly from this loop or hang a string from it.
