Are you a fan of the trend for little interchangeable acrylic flowers? Thanks to our partner designer Sophie aka Elyconia, we've got a woven version for you! This tutorial teaches you how to make this interchangeable flower element to thread onto your hoop earrings, using the brick stitch technique. If you're new to weaving, this is an ideal tutorial! Plus, it makes a great handmade Christmas gift!
Secondly, this is a basic brick stitch technique, as you're probably already familiar with. I strongly recommend that you follow this entire tutorial, where you'll have no trouble understanding and completing all the steps, even if you're just starting out in bead weaving. However, for beginners or as a reminder, you can refer to our technical sheets to learn the brick stitch technique.
We've created these little flowers in the warm, trendy colors of this winter season, which you can wear as earrings on a pair of small hoop earrings, or thread onto a chain to wear as a necklace... Don't hesitate to personalize your flowers by choosing other colors of Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads. We have a wide choice on our website, so you can build up a pretty little collection of flowers to interchange.
For the creoles, we offer a pair of 18 mm with a wire diameter of 2 mm, but we also have a very wide choice of sizes, so don't hesitate to choose your pair of stainless steel creoles.
