Discover how to weave seed bead cherries on creoles. Our video tutorial shows you step-by-step how to weave pearls onto hoop earrings. To make these pearl earrings, you'll need Miyuki Delica beads size 11/0, Miyuki seed beads size 11/0 and Preciosa beads size 7/0. The weaving technique presented here can be used on different sizes ofweaving rings or hoop earrings.
The first step is to attach Miyuki Delica beads to the ring. They are attached using the Brick Stitch technique. These beads woven into the ring will serve as a base for adding the cherries. You can also use seed beads instead of Delica beads. Delica beads are cylindrical rocailles. Classic rocailles are rounded. Delica is a type of bead created by Japanese manufacturer Miyuki. Other brands also make cylindrical beads, but under a different name, as the Delica name belongs to Miyuki. For example, the Toho brand makes cylindrical beads called Treasure.
Cherry jewelry is back this year. Inspired by the 2000s, this fruity, fresh fashion is back to add a touch of playfulness and nostalgia to our outfits. For a casual summer look, pair cherry earrings with a light dress and sandals. For an evening or special occasion, opt for a cherry necklace to match a little black dress or elegant outfit. Just in time, we've also released a video showing you an easy way to make a cherry and flower necklace with seed beads. Check it out. You can also use the same beads as in this cherry creole tutorial to make your own necklace. In fact, the technique can be used with all types and sizes of beads.

String 2 red seed beads size 7/0. These beads will be used to make the cherries. Attach them by passing through the fourth Delica and working backwards. Return to the third Delica. Pass through the second cherry, then twist the two red beads to secure them together.
String two green seed beads size 11/0. Pass through the other red seed bead, then back through the second. Pass through the first green seed bead. String another green seed bead, then pass through the second one and return to the next red bead.
Go to the fourth Delica. Go to the fifth, then the sixth. Repeat steps 2 to 4. In all, you need to attach 8 pairs of cherries.
Once the last pair of cherries is attached, return to the top green bead. String 3 gold seed beads, then pass through the top green bead of the next pair of cherries. Repeat until you reach the first pair of cherries.
Go back down into the beads to make a double knot against the ring with the thread used to secure the beads. Return to the beads to hide the wire, then cut it. Hide and cut the other end of the wire too. Add an ear stud with a connecting ring. You can also add a charm.
