The circular Peyote weaving, as its name indicates, is woven in circles. You will weave this bracelet directly into a circle that will turn into a cylinder as you expand it. The basic principle of Peyote weaving is to create gaps with the first 3 rows. Then simply fill in the gaps created with new beads.
Important notes: Place your hand as if you were stringing a bangle, with your thumb under your other fingers. With a thread, measure around your hand at the widest point. If the measurement obtained is less than 18.5 cm, repeat the pattern 7 times for one turn, 8 times between 18.5 cm and 21.5 cm. To calculate, know that the pattern represents about 3 cm and that you need to keep some margin to put on the bracelet easily.
Your bracelet will be a little fluid once woven. You can stiffen it with Isoclip anti-allergy clear coat.
Cut 2 m of thread and attach a bead that will prevent your beads from falling off when you string them. To do this, take any bead and make 2 turns in it with the thread and the needle after placing it at the end of the thread. Keep 15 cm of thread end. You will remove this bead later, when the weaving will stand by itself.
String the 2 rows of beads in the center, repeating the pattern 7 to 9 times depending on your skill. Then return to the first bead strung so as to form a loop with the beads.
Tighten the loop slightly and then start weaving the 3rd row following the pattern. For example, looking at the pattern, the first bead of the third row will be a navy blue bead and you will pass the needle directly into the turquoise bead. This will create gaps that you will fill with the 4th row and so on.
Once the 3rd row is complete, go through the two navy blue beads and add a new navy blue bead.
Continue this until the 10th row where the creation of the bracelet tips begins. Where there are no beads in the pattern, go through the beads around to pick up where you need to add the beads. Once you have woven one side of the bracelet, go back to the center of the bracelet and weave the other side. When finished, pin and cut the thread.
