Learn step by step how to weave a heart in Miyuki with this video tutorial. This is an ex-voto heart weaving chart or Mexican heart. You can wear it as earrings or as a brooch.
The weaving technique used is the Brick stitch. It is a needle weaving technique so you will not need a loom. By the way, this weaving pattern is not compatible with the loom because the beads are not placed in the same way. The advantage of Brick Stitch weaving is that you won't need much material and you can take your weaving anywhere in your purse. Brick Stitch is perfect for making "jagged" patterns, that is, other than squares or rectangles.

To stiffen your weaving and prevent the heart from twisting while wearing it, you can use several types of varnish depending on the purpose of your creation. In any case, only apply the varnish on the back of the weaving to avoid distorting the effects of the beads (ex: Mat, silk etc). If you want to sell, and in order to have no worries about the standards, you must use a hypoallergenic product like our anti-allergy varnish or subscribe to the idea of stiffening the weaving. If the jewel is for you or to offer and it is not in contact with the skin, like these earrings or a brooch, you can take Diamond Glaze or Decopatch varnish. Put on several coats, waiting for it to dry between each coat.
