How do I attach a multi-row spacer to a bead weave?

Discover in this video tutorial, a new model of bracelet on pearl loom. This azure blue bracelet is made with delicas beads size 10/0. You can learn how to attach a multi-strand spacer to the center of the bracelet by watching this beading video. You can also make this bracelet without the spacer. In this case, simply repeat the bracelet pattern until you have a weave the size of your wrist + 1 cm. The clasp will add an extra 1 cm of ease so that the bracelet is not too tight.

To add the spacer to the center of the bracelet, you will need to make the bracelet in two parts. The two pieces of weaving will then be attached to the spacer off the loom. This method allows you to have no visible threads behind the spacer.

Usually, the most used size of Miyuki delicas beads is size 11/0. Many of you on social networks ask us for tutorials with the slightly larger size: Size 10/0. This size of beads is indeed easier and faster to weave. The larger the size number, the smaller the bead. Thus, the size 15/0 is smaller than the size 11/0 which is itself smaller than the 10/0. These beads are 2.1 mm in diameter by 1.7 mm in height and have a 0.95 mm hole. The 11/0 delicas are 1.6 mm in diameter. Theoretically, you will weave your bracelet 30% faster with 10/0. However, attaching the spacer takes a little time. You can of course use the grid for 11/0 weaving but the clasp in the material list will not fit.

The weaving grid in this tutorial is the same as that other 10/0 delicas bracelet you enjoyed, but in brighter colors.

It does not have the same closure system. The Picasso turquoise delicas version is with a slip knot and wider wires on the edges. It will be almost impossible to use this finish with the spacer. Choose either the spacer + beadslide clasp, or bracelet without spacer + slip knot (without spacer + beadslide clasp is also possible).
