Here are the materials you will need to make this ankle brace
Want to learn how to make a macramé? BylilouCréa offers you today a new macramé tutorial to make a bracelet, an anklet or a necklace. And yes, this project can be adapted according to your desires, because as for many of our tutorials, once you master the technique, you can simply adapt the length to make the jewel of your choice.
Whether you are an expert or a beginner, this project requires little material and knowledge of basic knots in macramé. Once you have made the first few sheets, you have done the hardest part. Once you've made the first few leaves, you've done the hardest part. Simply repeat the pattern, alternating the beaded leaves with the white leaves.
Take your macramé tray, your T-pins, Linhasita waxed thread and Miyuki Delicas or 11/0 seedbeadsof your choice and let yourself be guided.
And if you want to go further in the creation of macramé jewellery, find the other tutorials of Delphine aka @Byliloucréa :

Here are the materials you will need to make this ankle brace

Let's start by placing two 60cm wires on the macramé board, 20cm from their ends.
Then attach a dozen 20cm wires in the middle, in a lark's knot, adding half a key with each wire. You will have to add other threads in the same way as your weaving progresses in order to obtain the desired length.

Keep the first 6 threads and block the others with a needle to be able to weave the first sheet without being bothered by the following threads.
Place the first left thread on top of the other 5 threads, and make an oblique stick.

Place 6 beads 11/0 as follows ...

Place the first thread on the left over the other 5 threads, and make a horizontal stick to close the outline of the sheet.

Make a second sheet starting in the same way as the previous one.
This time the rockeries will be replaced by vertical rods.
Fix a 10 cm wire in its center, by a lark's knot, on the second wire.

Make a vertical rod on the next two wires with each end of the wire you just added. Do the same on the next wire with only one of the ends.

Close the outline of the sheet in the same way as the previous sheet.

Now let's make the first leaf of the lower row... To do this, keep the 3 right-hand threads of the 1st sheet and the 3 left-hand threads of the 2nd sheet. Isolate the following threads with a needle in order to see them clearly...

Make a leaf using the 6 threads left over from the previous step, this time starting from the right (this will be the same for all the following leaves in this row).

Continue the sheet in the same way as the previous one, but weaving from right to left.

Close the outline of the sheet, always from the right.

Continue weaving the leaves, filling them in as you wish with rocks or thread until you get the desired length.

Once the right length is obtained, turn the work to cut and burn the threads that were used to fill the leaves. Be careful to keep all the threads that were used to weave the outline of the leaves.
Then weave each of these threads into a horizontal stick, on the second 60 cm thread installed at the beginning of the work on the board.

Cut and burn each wire, keeping the 2 guides of 60 cm.

Close the pegbox by making a series of flat knots with a 15 cm long wire.
Cut and burn the ends of the wire after obtaining a clasp of sufficient length.
Insert an 8/0 seed bead on each of the 4 remaining wires, then after making sure that the length of the wires is sufficient, make a knot to block each bead, cut and burn.
