How to make a Brick Stitch sun?

Here is a variation of the classic Brick Stitch weaving which should please you. Brick stitch is a technique of weaving beads with a needle. The principle is to first create a base of beads on which you will again attach other beads in the same way as a brick wall. In this case, in this tutorial we will only fix the bead base by hanging them on the ring of the ear stud. We will then use the attached beads as a support to attach other beads of different sizes to create the sun rays.

The beads used here are all from the Miyuki brand. They are delicas 11/0, rocailles 15/0 and bugles 3 mm. 11/0 and 15/0 are the size of the beads. The larger the number, the smaller the pearls. The center stone is a semi-perforated gemstone pearl. A semi-perforated pearl is a pearl with a hole that does not go all the way through the pearl. These are usually pearls that are glued to a support made for. So you won't see a hole once the bead is glued, unlike a normal bead.

You have trouble understanding the diagrams and need to see the brick stitch weaving around a ring with gestures? Here is a video tutorial that shows you how to make circular brick stitch earrings:Création DIY boucles d'oreilles Créoles Tissage Brickstitch Miyuki Delicas Emeraude.

Then make a knot using the thread already fixed on the loop and pass several times in beads to hide the thread then cut the excess. Do the same with the end of the thread.
