Today we suggest you put a little color and shine in your hair! PureCrystal, our supplier shares his technique for you to make a trio of beaded bead barrettes .

Nothing complicated, let yourself be guided by the diagrams detailed below

The stages :

Step 1 : Take a long piece (about 1.50m) of 0.15mm nylon thread. Slide 4 Rose Peach Shimmer beads onto the nylon thread. Pass the two ends of the wire through the 4th bead and tighten to make a loop as shown.

Step 2 : The 4th pearl becomes the first pearl for the next loop. Slide 3 other beads on the nylon thread, passing the two ends through the last bead and tightening as before. Continue building this way until you have 6 loops.

Step 3 : Now slide the nylon thread into the bead to the right of the last loop to fix the line as shown. You are ready to start line 2. Thread 3 more beads, then thread the nylon thread through the same right bead in line 1, as shown. This makes the 4th bead in the group and keeps the two lines together as shown.

Step 4 : Continue in this way, by sliding 3 beads on the wire and attaching them to line 1 until you have 6 loops in line 2. Repeat the process, going up line 2 to create the line 3 and finally, line 4.

Step 5 : Once you have completed the 4th line, you are ready for the next step. This will create a single line of beaded curls that will fit around the center of the bar. Slide 3 beads on the nylon thread.

Step 6 : Continue as before (step 2), building an 8 cm line.

Step 7 : Now you are ready to build the other end of the jewelry. This will reflect lines 1 to 4 that you completed in steps 02 to 04.

Step 8 : Attach this line of loops to the 4-line bead as shown. Secure with a knot

Step 9 : Now fold one end of the weaving in half and join the two halves by threading crystals between them along the edge. Repeat this operation on the other edge so as to obtain a pocket in which you slip one end of the bar.

Step 10 : Secure the nylon thread with a knot

Step 11 : Slide the bar inside the pocket.

Step 12 : Now fold the other end of the bead on the bar and fix it along the two edges with additional beads (as before), so that the bar is held securely in place. Tie the nylon thread with a knot.

Step 13 : Follow exactly the same technique as that stated in steps 1 to 12 for the barette with Crystal Shimmer pearls.

Step 14 : For the triangular bar, follow steps 01-05 to create a beaded rectangular piece, as shown. Make a single line of loops measuring 4.5 cm on each side of the room.

Step 15 : Join the 2 lines with a pearl. Slide 3 other beads on the nylon thread to make another loop.

Step 16 : Add other pearls as shown, accumulating on both sides. This is to produce an envelope to enclose the narrow end of the bar.

Step 17 : Form a loop on one side of the creation. Slide the nylon thread on the top of the piece, passing it through one of the loops you made in step 14 (diagram on the right).
Then slide 4 beads on the wire to make a complete loop. Do not pull too much on the nylon thread.
Fold over this loop so that it is under the piece, positioning it in the center under the two loops made in step 14.

Step 18 : Attach it to the adjacent loops. This creates a flap to hold the end of the bar.

Step 19 : Slide the bar inside the flap, then tie the nylon thread with a knot. Attach it to the adjacent loops. This creates a flap to hold the end of the bar.
Fold the other end of the bead to enclose the widest part of the bar. Join the edges. Tie the nylon thread with a knot.
