This tutorial explains how to make a Brick Stitch bracelet in 12 steps. Brick Stitch is a needle weaving technique that does not require a loom. It allows you to create brooches and beaded jewelry. Today, we will make a beginner level bracelet that will allow you to learn this technique. We will see how to start a Brick Stitch weaving and how to make Brick Stitch decreases. Then, we will see how to transform a weaving into a bracelet.
The brick stitch bracelet diagram in this tutorial is available in two versions. The original version is from 2019. A second version of this Brick Stitch bracelet pattern comes from theMiyuki Gypsybead assortment by Perles and Co. This assortment contains 6 colors of Miyuki delica 11/0 beads packaged in 5 gr of beads. This quantity of beads will allow you to make this bracelet and many other jewels. 6 x 5 gr of delica will allow you to make a large cuff in Peyote weaving. You can find the beads of the first version in the material list and the kit of the second version at the bottom of the page in the variation part.
Miyuki Delicas beads can also be used to create small decorative items, brooches and jewelry. There are thousands of possible combinations in terms of colors so have fun!

Cut 1m of wire. Thread a gold bead and a mushroom bead. Thread through both beads in the same direction and again through the gold bead.

Place the beads side by side and pass through the Mushroom bead to secure the two beads together.

Thread a Champagne bead and pass the needle through the Mushroom bead into the opposite hole where the thread comes out.

Go through the Champagne bead again, then through the Mushroom bead and the Champagne bead again.

Add the remaining 12 beads in the row in the same way, i.e. by repeating step 3.

Thread one gold bead and one mushroom bead. Thread the needle under the thread connecting the second to last and second to last bead of the previous row.

Squeeze and then push through the Mushroom bead from the bottom. Then go back into the gold bead from the top and then into the Mushroom bead from the bottom. You have just made a Brick Stitch decrease.

Thread a Champagne bead and pass the needle under the thread connecting the following beads. Squeeze and thread the needle back through the Champagne bead from below. Thread the remaining beads in this way to complete the second row. Complete the first side of the bracelet.

To go back down and start the second part of the bracelet, pass the needle through both the Mushroom and Champagne beads as shown in the photo.

Then go to the Mushroom bead next to the Champagne bead.

Run through the set of gold beads on the diagonal and then begin weaving the second part.

Open two rings and place them in the gold bead on each side of the weave. Measure the length of chain needed to make your bracelet, cut it in half and slip each end into the rings. Close the rings and twist them so that the ring opening is inside the weave. Add the clasp with more rings.
