Make this elegant necklace with a mix of different beads: seed beads, trinity beads, faceted beads.
Many thanks to Monika for this tutorial.
Before you start:
Here's a glossary of the bead references used throughout this tutorial
ROC11 = Seed beads 11/0
ROC8 = Seed beads 8/0
FP3 = Faceted beads
RB6 = PureCrystal pearls (round beads)
TB = Trinity beads
BG3 = Myuki Bugles 3mm
Step 1
Thread 1 firepolish bead and 1 trinity bead and repeat step 1 9 times.
Then make a circle and secure your wire. The thread should come out of the top hole of the Trinity bead (as shown in the photo below).
Step 2
Add 5 ROC11 beads and move on to the next Trinity bead, repeating this step 9 more times.
Step 3
You get a star shape and your thread comes out of the 3rd ROC11 bead.
Add 2 ROC11 beads between each 3rd Seed bead 11.
Before closing your circle, integrate the Rivoli into your element. Iron 2 or 3 more times to secure your rivoli.

Step 4
The thread comes out of the FP3 bead.
Add 2 ROC11 beads and pass the thread through the top hole of the TB.
Take two ROC11 beads and pass the thread through bead FP3, then repeat this step until the end of the circle.
Add 2 ROC11 beads and thread through the FP3 bead. Repeat until you have completed the circle.
You should achieve this result.
Step 5
Turn your creation over, your thread comes out of the bottom hole of the TB, add 1 RB6 bead and move on to the next one. Repeat this 5 more times.
You should obtain the following result. This is the front view, with your wire coming out of the RB6 bead.
Step 6
Add a TRB bead, then an ROC11 bead, then a TRB bead, and thread through the next RB6 bead, repeating this 9 times.
You should now have this result. Our wire comes out of a TRB bead, as shown in the photo below.
Add an ROC11 bead and pass the wire through the next TRB bead, then down through the ROC11 (added in step 4).
Cross the TRB (added in step 1)
Cross the ROC11 (added in step 4)
Pass through the following beads: a TRB bead, then an ROC11 bead, then a TRB bead.
Continue through RB6.
Pass the thread through the TRB again, repeating this until you have completed the circle.
Step 7
The wire comes out of the ROC11 bead, between 2 TRB beads (as in the photo below).
Add a BG3 bead and a ROC11 bead and loop back through the BG3 bead and the ROC11 bead (between 2 TRBs).
Add a BG3 bead and a ROC11 bead, then pass through the following beads: a ROC11 bead/ a TRB bead/ a RB6 bead/ a TRB bead/ a ROC11 bead (up to the next ROC11).
Repeat this step until you have completed the circle.
You should see this at the end.
Step 8
Turn your creation over, with the thread coming out of the RB6 bead. Add a ROC8 bead between each RB6.
You should get this result after the previous step.
The wire comes out of the ROC8 bead, which will be the starting point for the pendant loop.
The pendant loop
We've made the pendant with a herringbone knot, using 13 rows. You can, of course, use another technique if you wish.
1) Add two ROC11 beads and make a circle (reinforce this circle once or twice).
2) Our starting point is the first ROC11 bead (the bead with the black star), add two more ROC11 beads and make a circle.
3) Our starting point is the second ROC11 bead (with the black star). Add two ROC11 beads to make a circle.
4) Our starting point is the third ROC11 bead (black star on the diagram below), add two ROC11 beads and make a circle. Continue until you reach the desired length.
5) If you reach the desired length, return to your starting point. Reinforce the circle once more to make it stiffer.
6) Your loop is created.
You're done!
