How to make a wool lampshade?

Easily create an original and warm lamp with wool in natural colors and some silky pompoms.
Step 1
Start by making a tight knot on the round of the top of your lampshade leaving three or four centimeters of wool on one side. Plate the end of the wool yarn against the round. Work without cutting the thread by passing the ball under the metal ring of the bottom of the carcass as you pass, surround the wire twice on the bar before going back. Spend this time behind the top bar around twice as down and then continue. You must have once a yarn of wool that passes in front and next to another thread that passes behind. Always follow this pattern.

2nd step
Finish with your first color, fix the wool by a knot at the top as for the beginning then leave 3 cm of wool plated against the structure that will be covered by the next color. You can cut lengths in the thread so you do not have to pass all the ball through the carcass, vary the color widths by taking different thread lengths.

Step 3
Cover the shade completely and finish by hiding the last wire passing under others inside the lamp.

Step 4
Customize your lamp by adding three ivory silk imitation pompoms. Hang the pompoms between them by making knots through their loop. Secure the assembly at the top of the structure by another node.
