The end of the year is fast approaching, and what better way to prepare for the festivities than with a Christmas decorating tutorial? To decorate your tree, our partner Karole Larcanché suggests a DIY beadwork with this free weaving pattern (see below). She weaves a circular peyote 3D star with Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads. In the end, five woven squares are joined together to form the star. This creation is the perfect activity to gently immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas. This tutorial is at an intermediate level, but if you're new to bead weaving and want to challenge yourself, it's perfectly possible! The video and diagram will guide you through the weaving process. If you have any doubts about this technique, please refer to our tutorial Miyuki 3D Star Diagram in Circular Peyote. To complete your collection of Miyuki 3D stars, Karole Larchanché offers another tutorial: 3D Christmas stars in peyote weaving with Miyuki beads, in blue and gold. There's something for every taste and level!
Here, our partner uses white and grey beads, but you can also personalize your star with more traditional colors like red, green and gold, for example, to create pretty variations! If you'd like to brighten up your tree with handmade Christmas decorations, take a look at our tutorial page, where you'll find a wide selection of bead-weaving Christmas decorations.
