Cut 9 wires approximately 50cm long (check your head size and take into account the type of clasp you've chosen).

With this tutorial, create an elegant headband by combining Toho seed beads and PureCrystal rhinestone chain for a unique, sparkling accessory. What's a headband? A headband is a hair accessory worn around the head. As practical as it is pretty, this accessory can be made in a variety of materials, including fabric, wool or woollen. For our glamorous version, we opted for rhinestones and gold chains. Because New Year's Eve is all about sparkle.
This headband is perfect for holding back little hairs and will add a touch of bohemian chic to your party or wedding outfit. Wear your handmade headband and let the compliments roll in!

Cut 9 wires approximately 50cm long (check your head size and take into account the type of clasp you've chosen).

Line up your wires to start braiding.

3 wires will form a braid arm.

When you've finished the braid, cut the end wires straight and evenly.

Put a little glue on each piece of wire, then glue them all together.
Allow to dry.
Doing this step properly will ensure that your creation stays in place.

Once your ends are dry, place a clamping tip at each end of the braid and press them together well with pliers.
You should have this.

Thread your Fireline wire and tie a half knot with a Toho seed bead for support. We'll remove this seed bead at the end of the work, to hold the beads in place while we work.

Thread the following sequence until you reach braid length. 3 Seed beads size 8 + 1 PureCrystal 4 mm bicone + 3 Seed beads size 8 + 1 Bohemian facet + 3 seed beads.

Once the length has been reached, we'll start sewing just the first 5 or 6 beads to the base of the braid, making double knots on these beads which we'll attach to the braid.

Pass theneedle back through the beads we've attached.

Tie a double knot.

Once again, pass the needle back the other way before cutting the thread.
Do the same at the other end.

Do the same with PureCrystal rhinestone chain.

Take an open ring and attach the gold chain to the braid.

Same on the other side, this time with the Lobster Clasp.
