Assemble the first thread on the loom, but instead of wrapping the thread around the nail on the other side, wrap the thread twice around the wooden roller before wrapping it around the nail, then continue assembly.

Do the same on both sides of the loom for each new thread added, then tie a knot on the nail once all 6 threads are mounted.
