Cut a sufficient length of wire to match the desired necklace length. Then thread a round bead to be crushed, pass your wire protection over the bead and thread the wire back through the bead.

In this tutorial, discover how to create a bohemian-chic necklace with a flower-shaped pendant in natural stones. This handmade jewel combines simplicity and authenticity. It adds a delicate touch to your everyday outfits and goes easily with a dressier style.
For this natural bead necklace, I chose round, faceted tourmaline beads that fit in perfectly with the autumn season just around the corner. Combined with Aurora pearly beads, they add a refined, modern touch to this necklace. I chose to add an aventurine stone clover pendant, but we have other natural stone pendants on the site if you'd like to change it up. Like the tourmaline stones, you can change natural stones if you wish.

Cut a sufficient length of wire to match the desired necklace length. Then thread a round bead to be crushed, pass your wire protection over the bead and thread the wire back through the bead.

Take a pair of flat-nose pliers and squeeze the small pin to lock the wire in place.

I then strung the tourmaline beads, the freshwater pearls and the heishi rondelle beads in a rather random fashion. I was just careful to place two freshwater pearls in the middle of the necklace for the pendant.

To finish your necklace, you can do as you did at the beginning, i.e. pass a round bead to be crushed, then the wire protection and crush the bead. I advise you to pass the remaining thread through the first beads to catch it and cut off the excess.

Now we'll add the pendant. To do this, take a 3mm ring and open it with flat-nose pliers. Pass the pendant through the ring and place on the center of the necklace. Here, between the two freshwater pearls I had placed on purpose to mark the center. Close the ring.

Finally, take the 5mm ring, open it and place it at one end of the collar. Close it again. On the other side, place the clasp. Your necklace is now complete!
