STEP 1: Weaving
To make this weave, you'll use the Brick Stitch method. If you encounter any problems, please consult our technical data sheets!
Charlotte's tip: You should always start your weaving with an odd line, so that the thread at the beginning of the line and the thread at the end are not on the same side of the line.
Charlotte's tip: Use a beading needle that opens in the middle. This makes it easier to weave! The needle is more malleable and the thread much easier to thread.

How to make the first line of your Brick Stitch weaving?
First, thread the first two beads. Next, pass the thread through the first bead to create a loop, then string the third bead and pass the thread through the previous bead. Repeat for each bead in the first line. That's it! Your first line is now complete! Let's get on with it!

How to make an invisible Brick Stitch reduction?
Start by threading two beads, then pass your needle under the thread connecting the second and third beads on the line below. Then pass your thread back through the two beads in the opposite direction. Your thread is now in the first bead, so pass your needle through the second bead from bottom to top. For the third bead, pass your needle under the thread connecting the third and fourth beads, then pass it back through the bead in the opposite direction. Repeat until you reach the end of the line.
How do I make a simple Brick Stitch augmentation?
To make a simple augmentation, thread two beads, then pass your needle under the thread connecting the first and second beads of the line below. Then thread through the last bead from bottom to top. For the third bead in the line, pass your needle under the thread connecting the second and third beads, then pass it back through the bead in the opposite direction. Repeat until the end of the line.

To finish your beautiful weave, iron the thread inside the beads to create a knot to secure the thread, then cut it flush with the weave.
Tip: To make your task easier and your weave more solid, tighten the thread after each action!
STEP 2: Assembly
Once you've made your weave, assemble the warp using the rings and two clamps. Next, cut the warp with the cutting pliers to the length you require. In this case, Charlotte has cut to 70 cm to create the sautoir. Don't throw away the excess - save it for later!

Tip: Start by putting the ring into the bead and then put the end of the chain into the ring. You'll see, it's much easier. Now close the ring with the two clips!
Tip: When sliding your ring into the bead, make sure the opening is at 45° to the weave to avoid the ring coming off the bead when you manipulate it to put the chain in.

STEP 3: Dressing
To add a touch of originality and color to your long necklace, hang a copper wire filled with assorted beads suspended from tiny bits of chain.cut a 4.5 cm piece of copper wire.
On one end, make a loop with the round-tipped pliers, then wrap the excess around the wire itself. Refer to the diagram below.

Thread the beads in the following order: 7 turquoise, 1 white, 1 black, 7 pink, 1 black, 1 white, 7 turquoise. Then make a loop at the other end to secure the beads.

Remember the excess from earlier? - Use it to create two small chains! Cut the longer one to 8 cm and the shorter one to 5 cm with 3 rings each. Use the 4 open rings to assemble the chain with your superb pliers.

Taadam! Your beautiful long necklace is ready! Wear it now with a dress or blouse! It will add a touch of originality to your outfit ~
