What is a Miyuki mystery pattern?

To celebrate the 100,000 subscribers of our Youtube channel specialized in jewelry tutorials, discover the pattern of a mysteryMiyuki bracelet to be made on the loom. The bracelet pattern is revealed in the video, but you can keep the mystery going right to the end by printing out the lettered weaving grid without colors or the lettered chart and following them row by row as you watch the video. In fact, each row of the bracelet is revealed little by little until you reach the middle of the bracelet. So you can discover the pattern as you weave it. Of course, if you don't like surprises and want to discover the pattern right away, I invite you to go further into the video or color the lettered grid, a bit like mystery coloring. One letter = one color.

If you're already familiar with loom weaving, you can weave the bracelet without the video, but I'd still advise you to follow the instructions at the very beginning, particularly up to the two rows of decreases, which you'll also need to reproduce at the end of the weaving. The bracelet is 38 mm wide, and the most suitable end pieces are 35 mm wide. The weave must therefore be reduced at the beginning and end so that the first and last rows of pearls fit into the end caps.

As for weaving length, the diagram shows a total weave of 16.5 cm. If you choose the same primers (end caps, clasp, extension chain and number of rings) as those used in our model, we advise you to make the weave 2 cm smaller than the size of your wrist. If you're using a smaller clasp and fewer rings to connect it to the end-pieces, then we recommend a weave that's 1 cm smaller (or 0.5 cm smaller for a bracelet that's very close to the wrist) than your wrist size. As the pattern is symmetrical in relation to the center of the bracelet, look at the diagram to see which row you need to start at to weave the desired length.

Très très joli bracelet
Comment dois-je faire pour que le motif soit moins large, parfois j'ai besoin de modifier la largeur des motifs et je n'y arrive pas.
