Cut a 1 m piece of Fireline thread. Thread your needle onto the thread.
One of today's trends is the wide gold cuff, which adds that chic touch to your look. Our creative partner Alice Gerfault has joined us to teach you how to make a pondo stitch wide cuff. For those of you unfamiliar with this weaving technique, we have a "How to make pondo stitch?" datasheet that will tell you a little more about this way of weaving beads.
For this cuff, Alice used Miyuki 11/0 seed be ads with 40 mm weaving tips. But you can adapt the width of the bracelet as you wish, by adding or decreasing strands of pearls, or changing the size of the rocailles. However, if you change the width of the bracelet, be careful to adapt the diagram. Pondo stitch is a weaving technique characterized by squares of pearls surrounded by a row of 4 other pearls. You can also personalize this wide cuff by choosing new colors of 11/0 seed beads- we have a wide selection on our site.
If you like this technique, take a look at the turquoise and cream cuff bracelet tutorial that Alice also made.
If you reproduce this creation, don't hesitate to share it with us by mentioning us on social networks - we love seeing what you've done!
