Cone or pagoda beads are faceted conical glass beads. They are available in opaque, transparent or metallic effect versions. Thanks to their conical shape, you can create weavings that resemble fans. These beads extend the possibilities of weaving beads around a circle. Their specific tapered shape adds depth and dimension to earrings. Unlike a classic round pearl, these faceted pagoda beads reflect light in a unique way. Combine them with other pearls for even more detailed, meticulous creations: seed beads, faceted round pearls, crystal spinners or gemstones will enhance your creations.
Please note that, because of their material and cut, these pagoda beads are not all exactly the same size. Here, you'll need 16 dorado pearls and 20 beige pearls for the pair of earrings. One bag contains 25. So you'll be able to find beads of roughly the same size for your creation. On the other hand, if you want to make more creations and need 25 beads, consider taking an extra bag to have more choice in terms of sizes and choose beads that are more or less identical, or change bead sizes gradually. Also note that the finished creoles may be a little heavy for people used to wearing small, lightweight earrings. If you're used to wearing large earrings, then these won't be a problem. Personally, their weight is not a problem for me, and I wear them all day long.
We recommend that you wear these earrings with a hairstyle that leaves your ears uncluttered. A low bun or simple ponytail will show off your work to best advantage. For a sophisticated look, pair your earrings with a flowing, solid-colored dress, preferably in neutral tones like black, white or beige. You can also wear them to work with a blouse or blazer. Avoid overloading the ensemble with other imposing jewels. A fine gold chain around the neck or a few delicate bracelets will suffice. But of course, these are just suggestions, and we invite you to share your creoles and your look on social networks.
