This tutorial shows you a method to form flower petals around a stud earring with wire. You will then fill them with Miyuki delicas beads of the color of your choice using the brick stitch technique. You can then make more complex shapes such as other flower petals or shells. Abstract shapes are also easy to make.
This tutorial requires meticulousness and precision, so it is indicated as a difficult level. We do not recommend it for beginners. If you are a beginner, here are some tutorials to learn Brick Stitch weaving or to make other types of flower earrings:
In this tutorial, we show you how to make 5 petals, but you can make more, or you can put 2 strings of petals. You can also change the color of the beads, use 11/0 seed beads or change the cabochon which comes in different colors. What is also interesting is that you can remove the flower and wear the studs with the cabochon by themselves if you feel like it. In this case, do not glue the weave to the loop.
