Multi-row bracelet with gemstone beads and macramé

First of all, it is important to calculate the size you need for your bracelet.

This tutorial is for a wrist between 16.5 and 19 cm.

If your wrist is smaller or bigger, you just have to remove or add beads on each strand.

To do this, measure your wrist (just below the malleolus).

• African turquoise beads link 6 mn

Take the spool of linhasita thread 0.75 Kaki.

Thread in this order:

(abbreviations: TA 4 = African Turquoise 4 mn

TA 6 = African Turquoise 6 mn

CH = Hematite cube

- 1 TA 4 - 1 CH - 24 TA 6 - 1 CH - 1 TA 4

Cut the wire leaving 10 cm on each side of the bracelet, and make a knot at each end, burn slightly the wire that exceeds the knot and crush it by pressing towards the knot when it is still a little hot.

Center the beads in the middle of the wire and make a knot on each side of the bracelet after the hematite cubes.

• 4 mn African turquoise beads link and mini faceted hematite rondelles (you'll have to be patient to thread the hematites... I had to cut the end of my thread six times, and smooth the thread between my fingers...)

Take the spool of linhasita 0.75 Kaki thread, without cutting the thread as for step 1

String the beads in this order:

(abbreviations: TA 4 = African Turquoise 4 mn

CH = Hematite cube

RHF = Hematite faceted rondelle)

- 1 bead TA 4 - 1 CH - 2 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 1 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 5 TA 4 - 2 RHF

- 1 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 5 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 1 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 5 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 1 TA 4

- 2 RHF - 5 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 1 TA 4 - 2 RHF - 2 TA 4 - 1 CH - 1 TA 4

Finish the bracelet as in step 2

Take the spool of linhasita 0.75 Kaki thread, cut three threads of about 50 cm

Take the three threads together and leave about 15 cm of thread on one side and make a knot (which you can easily undo once the bracelet is finished) and hang the whole thing on a flat surface with a large pliers to hold them.

Weave about a centimeter in "vertical stick" stitch (the stitch used is the same as the one used in the beadsandco tutorial https://youtu.be/ha6zQk1BD0o )

and then insert a hematite cube on the wire used to make knots.

Thread a cube on the thread with which you make the knots every three rows. The cubes will be placed on the sides of the bracelet in an alternating way.

Once the right length is obtained (after having threaded about 20 hematite cubes on the sides, and continued the knots on about a centimeter, cut the thread with which you make knots flush with the weaving (2mn), burn the end by folding it under the weaving.

Do the same with the four threads of the corners of the bracelet so that there remains only the middle thread, on each side of the bracelet. See photo

Thread a hematite cube on each side, on these threads, make a knot to block the cubes, thread a TA 4mn on each side, measure the length of thread so that it corresponds to the two other bracelets already made, make a knot at the right length, then cut and burn the end of the thread.

• Macramé links and miyukis beads

Make 3 links with miyukis, faceted hematite beads, knowing that it is difficult to thread the faceted hematite beads with the 0.75 thread. (I did this but you need patience... If you find it too long or too hard, you can remove the hematites and replace them by miyukis of your choice)

Take the spool of linhasita wire 0.75 Kaki, do not cut but start and string the miyukis and washers according to the following diagrams:

To be repeated as many times as needed (between * and * , leave 12cm of yarn before and after the miyukis, cut the yarn and tie a knot on each side so that the beads don't come off.

Repeat as many times as needed (between * and *, leave 12cm of thread before and after the miyukis, cut the thread and tie a knot on each side so the beads don't come off.

Link 3:

*1A - 5B - 1A - 1D - 1A - 5B - 1A - 1RHF - 1A - 7C - 1A - 1RHF - 1A - 5D - 1A - 1B - 1A - 5D - 1A - 1RHF - 1A - 7C - 1A - 1RHF*

Repeat as many times as necessary (between * and *, leave 12cm of thread before and after the miyukis, cut the thread and make a knot on each side so that the beads don't fall off.

When the three links are ready, you have to gather them by weaving miyukis beads on each side using the vertical stick stitch as for link 4. and finish it in the same way.

Take the four ties that were made (steps 2 to 5), and tie a knot with all the ties to hold the bracelets together on each side of the ties.

Wrap the bracelet so that the ends overlap and using a linhasita 0.75 thread, make a few flat macramé stitches.

Cut the excess threads and burn the ends by pressing the thread well against the stitches made.
