How to make a thin bracelet with micro-macrame thread?
In this tutorial to create a bracelet, the star bead is a Tibetan bead which gives all its character to this jewel. It can be worn by a woman as well as a man, it will suffice to change the diameter of the micro-macrame thread to have a slightly thicker and masculine link. You will also use metallic heishis onyx gem beads and pretty square ceramic beads. The link weaving work is made of basic knots which are very easy to tie as well as the knots to make a flat slide clasp, if you have never done macrame and want to get started then this bracelet project is for you.
Step 1
Cut from your spool of thread for micro-macrame two lengths of 40 cm and two others of 60cm.

2nd step
Take a 40 cm thread to thread your beads. First the Tibetan pearl then on each side a heishi, two ceramics an onyx pearl and a golden washer.

Step 3
Start by blocking the beads by making a knot on each side. Take two 60 cm threads, fix them with a knot at this place on either side of the beads.

Step 4
Start weaving by making a loop with the left thread laid on the central thread.

Step 5
The right thread should pass over the left end of thread which protrudes on the right side and then it should come out through the loop formed on the left.
Keep the central wire under tension and at the same time pull on the two other wires. This knot is reproduced up to the desired length, we never change sides which quickly gives a spiral.

Step 6
Make the second side of your bracelet, when you have your two sides symmetrical and long enough you must keep only the central thread, the other threads must be cut leaving only one millimeter. Burn the remaining millimeters then when they are still hot press them against the central wire.

Step 7
Cross the ends of the thread then in the middle with the length that you have not used yet tie a knot.

Step 8
You will proceed as for the spiral knot except that from the second knot you will change sides and thus make a loop with the right thread and work with the left thread to pass over it and into the loop. You have to reverse the direction each time otherwise you start in a spiral. Make between eight and nine knots. Burn the ends of the threads, press them against the flat clasp.

Step 9
Slide the links of the clasp until you have the necessary length to be able to pass it on your wrist. Tie a knot on each side of the threads then burn the excess again to obtain small balls that will be easy to catch.
