How do I make a Miyuki bead rush?

Don't worry, this weaving technique is very easy! If you're a beginner, however, it's best to start with flat Brick Stitch weaving to fully understand how this technique works. Once you've mastered Brick Stitch, you'll automatically master tubular Brick Stitch too, as it's the same technique, with the simple difference that your bead base is a circle.

You can also create necklaces using this bead weaving technique. Be careful, however, if you try to weave with a larger diameter. Bending the weave exerts pressure which, if too strong, can break the beads. This tension is a little stronger when weaving with a larger diameter, so the curvature needs to be smaller.

Bracelet Brick Stitch tube :

1. Start by creating a ladder stitch base of 6 beads.
2. Connect the first and last beads with a loop.
3. Start weaving row 2, increasing the length with two beads.
4. Go around row 2, then connect the first and last beads with a loop as well, before moving on to row 3 and repeating steps 3 and 4.
5. Repeat the pattern as many times as necessary to get a bracelet that fits. You can also shorten it at the ends if adding a whole pattern makes your bracelet too big. Here, we've repeated the pattern 6 times.
6. Put a generous dose of jewel glue in the tips and push the ends of the tube in, rotating it a little so that the glue spreads evenly. Leave to dry for 2 hours.
7. Once the glue has set, assemble the bracelet, adding the extension chain and the clasp with open rings.
