Step 1 :
Cut 2 pieces of Natura XL wool a little longer then the width of your basket.
Pull a wool thread in the hole of your needle and go through the weaving of the straw where you want to dangle your threads .
Make a double knot with the end of the thread that goes out from the basket.
Then put the thread in the hole of your needle once again to put it inside the basket and then outside with regular space (respect the weaving of the straw ) We will use this line to dangle the other wool threads.
Repeat this operation with a second thread as well.

Step 2 :
Cut some thread to 1m50 long directly from your bobbin. Cut as many as you need to cover the all width of your basket .
Therefore You will have to fold them in 2 and place them as shown on the picture.
Put both end of your thread through the line and in the loop then pull..

You can now add some beads or try a macrame weaving . this will bring volume to your work. We will explain some ideas there:
1/ Add some beads :
Step 1 :
Take 8 thread, node them together . let 4 thread get out of a wooden bead per example, let the other thread goes around: one front, one behind and the others on each side .

Step 2 :
Attach each thread that surrounding the bead with the others that go through , so the block the bead.

Step 3 :
Then make a node under the bead with all the threads.

2/ Make a braid
You can make a braid with the threads too. If you want to insert a bead , do it before you thread the bead, it will block it and so it won't slip out.

3/ Do a macrame
Flat macrame : here a very simple node used in macrame. When you do it several times on the same way you have a very nice twisted effect.

Step 1 :
To do this node take 4 threads. Both threads from the middle stay as base auround which you braid the threads from right and links.

Step 2 :
Take the thread links put it above the threads from the middle and under the thread rights .

Step 3 :
Take your threads rights, put it under the threads from the middle and above your thread links.
So you see it's very simple : simply reverse the direction of your both threads.

Step 4 :
Pull gently on the threads rights and links let the both from the middle very straight to do your node . Go on like this , your thread will turn and form a twist.

Step 5 :
Let some threads dangle between each braid ; it will seem lighter.

Step 6 :
Make a node at the end of each braid and cut the threads at the bottom of the basket .
