How to weave miyuki beads in an arc?
Brick stitch or Peyote weaving techniques no longer make you dream? Want a touch of fantasy? Here is a technique for weaving beads around a spacer differently . You can use any weaving interlayer for this method. Here we use crescent-shaped dividers. These spacers are sold by 10, so if you have already made the double spacers moon weaving earrings you already have them! Otherwise it's time to embark on two intermediate to difficult level projects with almost the same material.
Let's talk a bit about the technique used here. Do you see DIY hoop earrings with gemstone beads attached around them ? Well, with a few details ready it is the same technique, or at least, the same principle. Here is the method synthesized in a few steps, for the rest, we leave you with the video.
Notes: Remember to tighten and replace your pearls as you go. If you are using a different interlayer, add a few more beads than you think in case, then break them with pliers as you go along if there are too many. You can put glue varnish on one side of the arc to keep it in place.
