How to mix double peyote with simple peyote?
The technique of double peyote interests you? Know that she has nothing complicated! If you master the classic peyote then you already know how to weave in double peyote. The technique remains the same, you just need to put two pearls at once instead of one. Try to visualize these two pearls as one and you're done. We have a very large selection of Miyuki delicas 11/0 beads available so feel free to pick your favorite colors. The mini pompons with golden fixation exist in more than thirty different colors.
If you do not know the technique of Peyote weaving, we recommend first to start with a tutorial on the classic peyote weaving in even numbers as in these tutorials:
Indeed, there is a lot of variation of peyote, the simplest being the classic peer peyote, then the inevitable peyote odd. The difference is in the number of pearls in the width. The odd peyote, with an odd number of pearls which makes it possible to create symmetrical patterns in the width and in the length whereas the peyote pair does not allow to have a symmetrical pattern in the width but only in the length. However, it is much easier to understand.
In this tutorial we will use odd and simple odd peyote. In reality, nothing prevents them from mixing. So we created a bracelet with a row of double peyote, a row of simple peyote in the center and another row of double peyote. Our bracelet is therefore a width of 5 beads in 3 rows. Here is the downloadable grid weaving double peyote bracelet .
