Das Leuchten kommt nur von einigen wenigen Pünktchen, die in die Rocaille eingeschlossen sind. Deshalb ist es sehr schwach, auch nach einem ganzen Tag im Sonnenlicht. Sobald die Umgebung heller ist als eine Höhle tief unter der Erde, sieht man kein Leuchten. Die Farbe ist nicht wie auf dem Foto, sondern ein sehr helles Blau.
