As the back is hollow/concave, I thought maybe to fill it up with some modelling clay and that way to have something smooth on the skin against the rough edges.
I would like to ask if I could bake this gold filled pendant in the oven with a FIMO filling (and after it cools down to glue it inside)? Maybe there is no need to bake together and it is enough to cast the shape and bake the FIMO on its own?
Or do you have any other idea in order to solve the problem of the not-smooth edges?

Hello, you can absolutely fill the back of the charm with Fimo clay and bake it in the oven. However, be sure to use the Fimo brand clay, as it bakes at 110°C, unlike other clays which require a higher temperature. The higher the temperature, the more the metal under the gold-filled layer is to oxidize.

This pendant is very delicate and pretty, but it has a problem: The edges – the rays of the sun – are not smooth and might scratch the skin of anyone wearing it. It is something to take care of.

Hello, this charm is indeed stamped, and the back is hollow, which explains why it feels slightly sharp.
