What is frivolity?
It's a traditional needlework technique used to make a kind of knotted lace. Frivolité lace is made up of a succession of double knots on a central weft thread. The result is rings (closed), hoops (open) and picots. These rings, picots and hoops can be embellished with pearls and picots.
Once you've mastered the technique, you'll be able to create pretty frivolity lace earrings.
