On our website, the flower pendant is available in 18, 20, and 21 mm sizes and in a wide range of colors. But which hoop should you use? With this quick guide, you’re sure to find the perfect jewelry findings for your project.
To make these trendy earrings, the key is choosing the right hoop earrings. To do this, you need to consider two factors: the wire diameter and the hoop diameter.
Wire diameter refers to the thickness of the ring. For making flower earrings, it’s best to use hoop earrings with wire that’s 1.5 mm, 2 mm, or 3 mm in diameter. The choice is yours—it’s a matter of personal taste.
This refers to the size of the hoop: it should be large enough, but not too large, to maintain an attractive look. There must be enough space between the earlobe and the flower pendant so that your creation is comfortable to wear.
Avoid small hoop earrings with a diameter of 10 mm or 12 mm. They’re too close to the earlobe to fit a flower pendant through them.
Medium-sized hoop earrings with a diameter between 15 mm and 25 mm are ideal. Anything over 30 mm may not look as balanced.
And if you don’t have pierced ears, know that you can still embrace the trend of flower hoop earrings. On our website, you’ll find hoop-shaped clip-ons for unpierced ears to which you can easily add a flower pendant.

Hoop earrings are circular pieces of jewelry that are more or less open. They are worn by both men and women.
The history of hoop earrings dates back several millennia; they are among the oldest types of earrings, as archaeologists have discovered them in a Mesopotamian tomb dating back to 2500 B.C. For a long time, they were considered a symbolic piece of jewelry representing a sense of belonging. Before becoming a fashion trend and gaining widespread popularity, they were worn by pharaohs, emperors, empresses, kings, queens, pirates, and slaves…
These earrings are timelessand never go out of style. Generally, hoop earrings are circular in shape, varying in width. But today, they come in square, rectangular, heart-shaped, and oval designs… Whether small or XXL, gold or silver, there’s something for everyone. They enhance the wearer’s features and remain a must-have.
