How to make flower earrings?

Creoles are a must-have in our jewelry boxes. We all have a pair of these round earrings at home, which we love to wear for any occasion.

The great thing about these earrings is that they can be worn as they are, or they can be customized with resin pendants or large acrylic links. This year, we prefer them with a flower pendant. You've probably already seen these trendy, colorful little earrings - they're everywhere!

But have you considered creating them yourself? You'll see, this pair of earrings is very easy to make, even for beginners. No jewelry-making skills are required: just slip a flower pendant onto a hoop earring... and that's it! It's quick and easy to create original, trendy earrings!

How to choose the right size for your creole earrings?

To make those trendy earrings, it's all about choosing the right size. To do this, you need to consider two criteria: the diameter of the wire and the diameter of the hoop.

• Wire diameter

Wire diameter refers to the thickness of the hoop. The best way to make flower earrings is with 1.5 mm, 2 mm or 3 mm diameter wire. The choice is yours, and a matter of taste.

• Creole diameter

This is the size of the hoop: it should be big enough, but not too big to keep it pretty. There should be enough space between the earlobe and the flower pendant for your creation to be comfortable to wear.

Forget small creoles with a diameter of 10 mm or 12 mm. They are too close to the earlobe for a flower pendant.
Medium hoop earrings with a diameter of between 15 mm and 25 mm are ideal. Beyond 30 mm, the result may not be harmonious.

What are creoles?

Creole ear rings are circular jewelry pieces, more or less open. They are worn by both men and women.
