Piercing saw blades for bocfil n°3/0 x144

These jeweler's saw blades are to be used with a bocfil. This small saw will allow you to cut shapes in thin metal plates.

There are different sizes of blades defined by numbers. The size scale for saws is (from thinnest to thickest): 8/0, 6/0, 4/0, 3/0, 2/0, 0, 1, 2, 3. This bocil blade has a size of 0/3, which corresponds to a thin blade.

We give you some tips and tricks for sawing with a bocfil, like how to prepare the bocfil or how to hold a bocfil.
To make it easier to work with the file or bocfil, we recommend using our jeweler's dowel that fits on a workbench or table corner.

Be careful, you must use the saw blade in the right direction: the teeth must be located downwards.
A little tip: run your finger over the blade, if it catches it's not good, change direction!
You can coat the blade with beeswax to make it glide more easily and wear out less quickly.
