This pen reamer with its three diamond tips is ideal for enlarging and unclogging pearl holes and adjusting irregular holes.
This reamer comes with three interchangeable heads to better adapt to your various creative projects. To use it, simply loosen the head by turning it, then insert the base of the tip into the chuck until it stops. Then tighten the head by turning it in the opposite direction.
The tapered tip smoothes out rough bead edges to reduce wire wear and prevent cutting.
The other two tips (the small and the long) are used as reamers. They are ideal for enlarging and unclogging bead holes, and for adjusting irregular holes on ceramic or natural stone beads (note the hardness of your stone on the Mohs scale).
Ergonomic and practical, the pen's hollow body makes it easy to store tips you don't use.
How do I enlarge a pearl hole?
Simply insert the fine point into the pearl hole, then rotate it back and forth until you reach the desired hole width. The pearl will enlarge by filing.
Be sure to apply only slow, gentle pressure to avoid breaking or chipping your pearls.
